XTS3000 RF Board Number

I am looking for an RF Board for an XTS3000 UHF R1. My part number is NLE4249D, but every one on ebay that claims to have my replacement ends in a different letter like NLE4249"C" or NLE4249"B". - Is the letter just a board revision, and will work just the same? - I noticed it sa...

Re: To newly registered users: Welcome! Please read...

I would like to be moved into the registered Users group. It's nice to know I am dealing with knowledgeable people, and would like to contribute as well. I have bought a few higher priced things on here, and it went smoothly, but I had to have a friend give them my number to do it because I am a new...

UHF CDM1250 Signal Meter Mapped out

Here are my findings when going through the Motorola CDM1250 UHF version with my HP8924C Service Monitor. With the squelch opened up all the way, the threshold to where I can perceive the most minute evidence of a 1 kilohertz tone, is at -133 dBm, or a little more than an S-2. My squelch is set to o...

Re: XTS 5000 Just quit

No trunking system was programmed in. I think it's hardware because I can't even read a codeplug. No backlight, no nothing.

Re: XTS 5000 Just quit

The fuse on the RF board is good. It's the XTS5000 Model III UHF 403-470 MHz.

XTS 5000 Just quit

My XTS5000 just quit working. It was fine one minute, then the screen went blank, and it won't power up. The battery was almost full, and I tried other batteries. I disassembled it, reseated all the ribbon cables, checked the little battery on the board. Still dead. If I were to throw new parts at i...
