If your link is correct, you're looking at Astro Spectra VHF 50w radios with hardware encryption... Interesting find, that. They are not XTS or XTL, for that matter. Sorry,

Just chewed through the XPR 5550 sample codeplug in TRBO CPS, there doesn't appear to be any of the relevant functions available on the accessory port. Nothing for display brightness or day/night mode in the accessory pins.

Personally I wouldn't hesitate to tap into someone else's ignition sense lead. But I'm sorry, I don't have any specs for that current draw, or even know where I could get them, since it's not in the literature and I've never seen it on Batlabs

As a followup - we got two new XPR5350 in and I rebuilt the RF plate. Before I plugged the RICK in I metered the Digital I/O pins - 0.2v on the low side. much better than the 1.4-1.8v of the previous radios.

go figure, they worked great.

Cross Bang was a typo, but it was one of the perfect ones that has to be kept. Both radios were on the same power supply at all times, and while I can't guarantee there weren't any transients, the bench power supply is about as trusted as they come (40 pound Motorola adjustable voltage/current unit....

1.3 - 1.8v on the PL det line with the other end not connected to anything. No mAmp meter available for ~2 weeks.

HOWEVER, the 5350s are in a box headed back to Big Mo. New radios on the way.

Just noticed the bus, we've been forced to go with the groove mount on the fender as described above. It's for 850 mhz trunked, and works OK. I'd hate to think about VHF into that vehicle, but I'd probably go with the fender mount and see how I did.

That's correct, there is no drag and drop support in TRBO cps.

You should, however, be able to right click individual entries or entire subcategories and copy then paste them. Seems to work across models (I just copy pasted a zone from an XPR 7350 to an XPR 4350 as a test)

TRBO radios (and APX!) are network devices. Shut off Windows Firewall in your VM, and make sure the VM has all the appropriate permissions to IP over the USB.
