It won't read/write a radio using 64bit windows. With that said, I've used it on windows 7 32bit without any problems.

Re: Minitor Band Change
I've done exactly this successfully with a couple III and IV pagers. One needed a bit of tuning, there's a pot accessible thru a hole on the vco shield.

Re: XPR330 and 6350 sample codeplugs?
In CPS, Device -> Recover
This will load a factory default codeplug, and get rid of the password.
Back up your tuning data beforehand just in case.

XPR5550 Screen Blank
Picked up an XPR5550 on ebay. More often than not the screen does not turn on when powering up. Otherwise it seems to work normally. Once in a while the screen turns on when powering up, then stays on the whole time radio is on. Tried another control head with the same results. Has anyone else seen ...

Re: Small SCADA Type Remote Question
MotoTRBO radios have a couple gpio lines on the accessory port that can be configured to automatically send telemetry messages to another station when activated/deactivated. The receiving station can then take the telemetry message and activate/deactivate an gpio line. See here for a more through ex...

Re: Can't get the USB Cable to work with the CPS and XPR7550e
The TRBO/APX usb cable does not have any type of serial converter chip inside. Prolific drivers won't do anything. It is a straight-thru usb cable with a 1-wire identification chip to tell the radio what's plugged into it. The radio will show up on the computer as an ethernet adapter when installed ...

Re: Minitor III/IV - Need help on how to modify Band Splits
I've only moved 151.x to 147.x; a few pagers needed adjusting in order to work, and C210 (under the shield) did the trick.
Try it and see what happens?

Re: Minitor III/IV - Need help on how to modify Band Splits
Going off of memory -- there's a small hole in the metal shield over the vco. While transmitting on your desired frequency, hold the monitor button on the pager to open the squelch, and adjust the small trim pot/cap inside the hole for maximum quieting. There's a more exact process using a service m...

According to the model number on the radio, they'll support a W4 head. Any other control head will require internal srec editing and possibly hardware changes.

Any reason not to use the sm50? It's even smaller, has 40w output, 2 channels, and does pl/dpl. Computer programmed.

Pushed the wav file though dsdplus; a couple transmissions come back as trbo, cc 15, ts 1, group call 50, from radio id 6. Also in there an idle / ipsc beacon.

Wait a few days for that to process, then you can order MotoTRBO CPS from the Buying Center in your account. RVN5115 for 3 years of up...

Do you have privacy (encryption) enabled on the subscribers? If so, the repeater needs to be programmed for the same privacy type. Sometimes missing the first part of the call is a symptom of a repeater not having the same type of privacy enabled.
