Re: APX4000 on 902/927 ham?

I haven't been back to the shop yet. Maybe next week. but 927.7 was definitely programmed into the rx, & 902.7 was definitely programmed into the tx. This I saw with my OWN 2 eyes. But like the 2500, I could not change the 927.7 freq with the keypad to another 927 freq. The 927 freq was entered...

Make sure you are searching for hex values. RX Lower Limit / TX TA Lower Limit 935.0125 = 9428BB37 Change to 926.0000 = 80A33137 or 927....

Re: What was the most recent FW for a MTX9250?

Gary- If you are not familiar with upgrading the firmware in these radios, you will need a rib and a fully wired cable going from the rib to the radio. You will also need a flash adapter, part number HLN9742, which you can either purchase or make on your own. I have done both. If you use a "rib...

Re: Stupid ASTRO Affiliation question

If you want to be able to set the radio to affiliate only on PTT, you need an MTS2000 or an XTS3000. They are the perfect radio for directly receiving or scanning TGs on analog Smartnet / Smartzone systems.

Re: MTS2000 CPS 2.00.03 900 MHz band edges

The newer versions of MTS/MCS CPS (e.g., R02.02.00 and R02.03.00) are modified in the same manner. Open MTS2000.exe or MCS2000.exe using your favorite hex editor. Use the replace command to look for the following hex strings, and then replace them with the provided strings. Make sure you are searchi...

XTS2500 900 Ham FPP
