The tuning data and the codeplug is stored in the EEPROM and not in the FLASHROM. In the FLASHROM,only the firmware is stored but the firmware must match to the codeplug version! Replace the flashrom.This is the most common problem (rotten terminals inside the Atmel chip),when the radio will not turn on anymore.

Got it and made a special out of band/password bypass version.

the 2100 series DOS RSS for this radio.

It´s not a MTS2000,but you can flash it very
easy into a MTS2100(European Version
of MTS200).You don´t need a SMART RIB
for this action.
