Does anyone know if the RSS for the MT2000 radios is still available from Motorola?

It's been several years since I last programmed my Ht1000 and I've forgotten how to do it. I have a Thinkpad with Windows 95 and I used to run the RSS from the floppy. I still remember how to get into native DOS, but for the life of me, I can't remember the DOS commands to launch the RSS from there....

Can a Motorola MT2000 in VHF or a Ht1000 in UHF be programmed out of band for Ham use? I do have the legal RSS for these radios.

Excellent information, just what I was looking for. So I know codeplug is handled in CPS, is flash done in CPS as well?

A newbie questions. What is the difference between a Flash and a Code Plug and are they both done with CPS?
