If your talking about the "Self Test Alert Tone" (same as pow. up alert tone when you turn it on) its in all the jedi & mtsx/mtx software. Change it from Disabled to Enabled. If you can't find it? or don't see it? someone may have done some work to that codeplug? Some jedi's say "...

Even with two mobile radios and a duplexer the wideband frontends on the mobile radios are going to cause desense problems in the same band. Like someone said already, better to use two antennas and space them as far apart(horizontally) as possible. thanks Al I was thinking the same... ____________...

I'm using this: http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/switch/1864.html BUT you want the same band..?? you need a duplexer as the above post says... we don't know the wattage or frequency...less of a headache for another antenna....and this switch is for 1 mobile at a time... :o

Funny to see there are LOTS of repeaters use 100.0 for PL tone. How are the activity levels wise? There seems to be a ton of repeaters on V/U/900. Stanford did some tests with Amplitude Compandored Sideband, but I don't think moto made any? I could be wrong. I know they hacked away at some motorolas to do this. I got a few PM's saying it was the LCD since it was not on the external monitor.
If it was on the ext. CRT that I plugged in the back, it would be the VRAM.

the lines and patterns appear on the notebook LCD screen only, nothing on the CRT monitor I plugged in the notebook... So is this the video card? I have a feeling its a bad LCD? TIA?
