Re: 2019 Ford Fusion - Auto Shutdown Feature

I personally have no experience with the auto shut down feature but I will say I have a cousin that bought a new F150 that has that feature and he said he was able to turn it off so you might want to check to see if there is a user setting in the configuration somewhere to do that. Re: Maxtrac Low Band 31 MHz - TX power falls back after PTT pressed?

How robust is the power supply you are using to run it. If the power supply is bad or is a low current supply and can't handle the current draw the radio needs, the radio TX power will drop off as the power supply goes into fold back or current limiting. I believe those radio draw between 15 and 20 ...

Save a blank copy of the existing code plug first and don't touch it. If you mess up the radio programming you can always reload the blank code plug back into the radio and start from scratch with a working radio. The only way to learn how to program this stuff is to start at the top of the menu tre...

Have you tried a new fresh battery in the rib box? Are you using OEM Motorola cables and a rib? I believe 01/82 is an external checksum error. Maybe also check your cable connections. If you're using after market stuff some people have good luck with them others not so much.

How about one of those trucker style clamps they use on west coast style mirrors. You can clamp it to the fender mounted mirror on the passenger side then screw a no ground plane antenna to that.

Check your programming. Make sure companding is turned off. Also check to see if you have emphasis and de-emphasis turned on. All the radio in the fleet need to be programmed the same way. If your current radios don't have emphasis and de-emphasis on then this radio needs to have those settings turn...
