have you tried running the xp setup with the usb cdrom drive from within win2000. This should eliminate your problem, it will upgrade it for you.

are you still using the vpn router as your primary router? if so make shure that the linksys vpn is off. Make shure you have the latest firmware, and did you foward the port tcp and udp? if your still stuck let me know and ill look at your router config

from the command prompt run "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes) that will check windows files to make shure nothing has tampered with them. That might fix the firewall problem.

That is a really good idea. I'm assuming that it would be a positive switch, and would I need a tail light flasher instead of a headlight flasher? Thanks, Brock if they come on with the dome light then i think its negative switched. (It gets a ground signal from the switch in the frame of the car.)...

yes it can be done off the back connector, and you have to verify the programming of the connector. buy any ol' footswitch you like, that will create the connection between 2 pins on the back to make it transmit. Then find a visor mic that sounds halfway decent and hook it to the 2 mic audio pins on...

lookup the specs of that monitor idealy you want to run the flat at the "native" resoltion (where it looks the best). its more than likely the native is 1042x768 but i would double check

hmm, i have a vpn server on a windows server 2k3 box and it gives me a 169. once i am vpn'ed in i go to propertys and look at the server ip. from there i can remote desktop in and \\ to the machine. have you tried pinging the server once the connection has been made?

when you connect via vpn, it assigns you a seprate ip in the 169 range. you must use that ip anytime you are wanting to access resources on the computer you are vpn'ed into. if you click the propertys tab it will show you the server ip.

yes all you need is a pair of rj45 crimpers, and some clips. granted the plugs are the standard 8 pin and not the 10 pin. if you have some buddies that are into computers or networking see if they have the materials, Its the same equipment used to make networking cables.

you can get a pinout on the minitor 2 page of batlabs, the pager outputs 12volts, so you need a relay in line with the lamp. it needs to be a 12v coil with 120v contacts.

yes please send me a link to that software, all i was able to turn up after a couple of google strings was road runner cable. The console looks better thane the few wooden ones i have seen, but i have to agree with scott - the bedliner makes it look weird.
