Talked to a different guy at the shop. He said the reason they don’t have the upfitters manual is because their is no police package for the Fusion unless you go with the new Hybrid Pursuit.

Look at any accessory that stays on during the stop start cycles and find the fuse for one of them and tap it. Still have to have the “key” to power the radio. Look at page 154 in the manual.
“Press the Auto-Start-Stop button located on the center console to switch the system off.
The button will illuminate. The system will only be deactivated for the current ignition cycle. Press the button again to restore Auto-Start-Stop function.”

Factory floor console on the 4X4 floor shifter version. If not for the the 4X4 shifter being in the way I would have used the 24" console instead if the 12"

Been using Dielectric grease on RJ11/45 connections in high humidity locations with no problems.

Turn the fan so it blows instead of sucks and put a automotive flat panel air filter on the inlet vent. That is how I have the cabinets for my solar power station and remote radios set up.

A dummy load is a resister in a heat dissipating case that allows you to test a transmitter by acting as a non radiating matched loading device. Wide band width antennas have components molded in then to give a good match to the transmitter that themselves are wasters of rf energy.

As the saying goes ther is no such thing as a free lunch. To make the antenna wide band enough to cover that entire frequency range gain was sacrificed. It is wide banded because it is a rubber dummy load.

What about one of the short screwdriver antennas that cover up through 6?
It should receive well enough where ever it is set and use a preset manual tune box with a button programmed for each of the frequency ranges.
