Can a XTS5000 Model 2 be compatible with FPP? (ie. using the arrow keypad to move cursor and change frequencies)

Yep mine has R13.05.00 firmware and I have set to mixed mode.
When I try to set visibility to on, I get a message BT Search Failed immediately and it stays Visibility off.
When I try to turn on Search Devices, I get a message Clear All BT devices failed

Just an FYI to check on your monitor...... BOTH the generator out AND the RF ANTENNA ports ( BNC connectors ) are fused. Simply unscrew the BNC and check the little green pico fuses. That's what I heard too, but since the radio gets all its channel and slot assignment from the control channel, may be it will work just like on a phase 1 system.

Programming XPR6550 with LTR Passport
I have a XPR6550 with LTR Passport board installed. When I read the radio in CPS 7.6 it does not have any options I can choose for LTR. Is there a menu somewhere that I have to enable to see configurations for LTR?

My XTS5000 fails to upgrade to 17.01.01_A when I attempt to download. It keeps complaining invalid firmware.
I loaded 17.01.01 and the radio came back to life, no problems.

I tried plugging in the 3.5mm earpiece to the mic, no audio coming over either. I don't have another audio accessory to play with.

Homemade remote mount cable using Telco 25PR
Did anyone have experience with those? I am planning to make a MA-COM Orion dual radio cable (which uses all 37 pins with a DB-37 on each end). I have the connectors, but I need some idea on which type of cable to get. The Telco 25 PR cable seems to fit the budget quite nicely.
