What if you put the 3k into digital carrier squelch? Can it receive the 5k then? If not then I'd suspect an alignment problem with the 5k. Recheck the mod comp and deviation adjustments. I've got one XTS3000 and XTS5000 and want to setup one simple ch. for Astro mode, My XTS5000 can RX the signal from my XTS3000, however when TX from XTS5000 and XTS3000 seems no RX on that. I match these two setting seems same one it. Do know why, Doese anyone can tell me what's going on ?

I've got XTS3000R mode 2 and AS3 also VHF, but when I turn on it was display "KEY FAIL", I think it should be the securenet or DES issue, so may I know how to disable this message?

I've got the XTS5000 mode II alpha radio 6 months ago but still can't get it back live; finally I sold to my local collectors and up to now I still don't want to touch this series.

I have XTS3000 mode I and XTS3000R model II

I own XTS3000 Mode I VHF with Li-ion battery, it was nice. Becasue Li-ion battery not so heavy, after I got Li-ion battery I'm less use the standard battery. I use it in Ham band, I also love Astro Saber II or III VHF, now I'm trying to source one.
