SL300 battery question

Hey just picked up the first SL300 and got a question on the battery. It has the BT90 in it but everything says the BT100 is the right battery. Also I only see one battery door listed for these. So my question is if I get the bigger battery will this door work? Had a couple of SL7550's and loved the...

I know the book says one scan list is assigned to each of the 16 positions of the zone/channel selector knob. And that the same channel can be in several scan lists. My question is how do I set this up? How do I get to each scan list? And how do I setup one channel in more then one list? Thanks Ben
