I realize this is after the fact, but Quickmount also made a dual-head box for the CDM series. The only problem was, they kept burning up and Quickmount just dropped the boxes since they never could fix the problem.

The microphonics kit above is the official fix for the Jedi TX noise problem (had several of my own do it). Its easy to reproduce, just "twist" the housing a bit while TX and you'll get loud scratchy sounds over the TX audio.

No, the Quickmount boxes use RJ45 jacks with either 8 conductor flat cable or CAT5 twisted pairs. Either way, no sheilding. We have had MANY problems with these units with CDMs. Usually resulted in toasted QM boxes.
