Aftermarket Saber and Jedi connectors

Does anyone know where I can find aftermarket Saber or Jedi connectors? Or for that matter original ones. I just want the connectors.

Multikey is a codeplug option. If you flashcode indicates that you have multikey enabled, then the module will do multikey.

RSS 9 should work. Try reading it. If it is incompatible, then RSS will tell you. Reading the radio will not hurt it.

The freq range is 450-512. However it is possible to out of band program it to 430. But you'll need a hacked version of the astrop.odb file in your RSS directory. I believe these ...

Yeah, funny things do happen. Actually you've got to have a pretty good sence of humor to consider it funny.

Neither Rx nor Tx work in mixed IMBE/VSELP.

You cannot have IMBE(APCO25) and VSELP vocoding in the same radio. The selection is RSS is to choose the vocoding method, but you need to have the correct firmware in the radio to do IMBE or VSELP. I've tried turning on IMBE in a VSELP radio (or the other way around?) and the radio would reset on PTT.

The codeplug determines the type of control head for the radio. Buttons and display types are based on this. However you could put a W9 on it, but you'll still have 7 characters displayed. I've tried this, but I don't remember whether all the buttons mapped over from the W7 to W9. It's even worse ...

In this case you will be scanning all the channels in scan list 2 and none in scan list 1. There is no way to scan more than 16 channels. 15 from the scan list plus the selected channel if it not part of the scan list. I hope this helps.

Your codeplug is toast. If you need assistance with recovery, email me at [email protected], or you can pay Moto $330 flat rate and they will recover it for you.

No. Only 15 channels in the scan list + the home channel, if it in not already in the scan list = 16 channels.

Hey Elroy, here's one way to overflow the EEPROM. Put in all 255 personalities, then put in a whole bunch of scan lists with 15 channels each, then programm a boat load of call lists and phone lists.....then...hit...the...F8...key.

Yup...I was bored one fine day.

Here is what I've found the hard way...

Host Firmware must be version R04.00.00 or greater and DSP firmware must be version 06.xx.xx or greater. I believe the oldest DSP version I've seen that does APCO25 (if memory serves me right) is 06.04.01.

512K boards work perfectly well for APCO25/IMBE.
