Yeah, going to O5 from W9 will save a lot of space. I believe XTLs manufactured after Jan 1, 2012 are narrowband only, but I don't know where the serial number cutoff is, so you'd have to ask the seller. I have tried it in v10 on a Win7 machine. I can see it going through the different personalities and whatnot in the ASTRO25 CPS, but then it just sits there and never finishes. I gave up and haven't tried it on v11+ yet, if I remember I can try tonight.

I'm selling a crypto board with AES-256 on it, and I have interest from someone with an FPO address. Looking at the USPS site, I would still need a customs form for it. Does anyone have experience in this area? I did a search, but it seemed like everything as about true international shipping.

I hate digging up posts, but I couldn't find anything for the cable. I only need about a foot to a foot and a half extension. It also seems like Motorola uses an uncommon 2-pin molex connector. Does anyone know of anything that fits the bill or a workaround?

I haven't had to do it with an APX yet, but what I've done in the past is: -Create a new channel/system/personality -Delete all the old ones -Fix any errors in the Zone/Scan lists When you create a new channel or whatnot, it is set for the defaults so you don't have to figure out what they should be...

Is it a smartzone or smartnet system? If it's smartnet and you have the coverage set to smartzone it will do what you describe. Another thing to check would be if it's an analog channel and the voice is set for digital.

You can try throwing in a dummy frequency in a conventional channel. Then setup a scan list for the system you're trying to listen to. If you can read the radio with CPS go into the CONVENTIONAL menu and in your CONVENTIONAL PERSONALITY pull down tell us if the tx deviation is 5KHz or 2.5 KHz?
