Re: ITA2000 Tone Remote Question
Actually, the consolette needed to go. The caps were changed a bunch of times and we were having issues again so definately not worth the time or effort on a 25+ year radio. I spoke to Gai Tronics yesterday and they informed me that there was an additional Pot (Pot3) on the board of the tone remote ...

Re: ITA2000 Tone Remote Question
Will I need to change anything on the radio programming side? Such as enabling handset or Hang Up Box etc or will the CDM realize it is coming from the accessory connector and handle it differently?
Thanks for your response.

ITA2000 Tone Remote Question
All, Due to narrow banding I recently replaced my spectra consolette with a tone remote setup using a GaiTronics ITA2000. After playing around with different dip switch settings as well as radio programming I have succeeded in getting the setup up and running. I noticed that the output volume, which...

Waris Firmware Upgrade and Tuning
All, Sorry if this is a silly question. If I were to upgrade the firmware on a CDM radio (current firmware over 10 years old) will the radio have to be retuned? Obviously the prefered answer would always be to retune the radio but I am not a radio tech so would rather avoid if possible. If the tunin...

CPS Password Protectable Radios
All, Anyone have a list of which radios can be password protected so that the average (non batlabs) person can't easily read the radio? Most of our radios are pro series radios but there does not seem to be a consistant way to know which radios are able to be password protected. I can have two of th...

C100 Signalling Tone Remote Help
All, I recently picked up a C100 remote with MDC signaling capabilities. The remote works well with no issues. I was wondering if anyone knew of a key combination that would allow me to change the screen contrast as it seems very light. I assume that this can be adjusted. I have a "page" b...

If a spectra consolette states it has the tone remote option does that mean it will function with a tone remote handset but needs an adapter or it has one built in and just requires the actual tone remotes?

AZ - Asia Pacific
MD - ?
FD - ?

Thanks
