FYI Li-Ion battery - NTN9862C Problem
In an earlier posting I said we were having problems getting batteries to work with our Motorola battery analyzer -pocket. Evidently the Magnetic attraction between battery and the pocket was not enough to keep the battery locked in. This had not been a problem with the earlier NTN9862A or any ...

Auto Test database question
The Auto Test software for the XTS3000 dumps the data into an Excel format. The printout is rather cumbersome and hard for a non-tech to grasp (my customers). Has anyone developed a more friendly template in Excel or Access that I can dump the data into?

Deviation problems? in Astro systems
In a digital Astro simulcast system the deviation is supposed to be critical.
On portables and mobiles the Deviation limit is supposed to be 2.78-2.88. How far off of that number can a radio be before it starts having problems and what type of problems and symptoms will you see? Where can I find ...

The Auto Test works quite well. The problem is with the support and documentation. Zero Documentation  The demo shows the XTS5000. There are differences in the XTS3000 setup like needing a RIB and a special adapter on the RLN4460 test box. Also the graphics show the testing being done with the ...
