Thanks for the reply HLA, we like to tighten up the squelch a bit from the factory setting.

On the CDM we do in fact do the squelch setting in the tuner.

You need what is now called CPS (Customer Programming Software).

The part number is HVN9025(X) where X is the version. I am currently using HVN9025L and it works on radios currently delivered.

This CPS also works for the CDM, MTX, and HT (750/1250/1550).

We use Sinclair SL221 (EXCAL221) and get good results, only unity gain but would survive anything, likely even a rollover.
