with the demise soon of the HT1550, and in the future the 1250 LS+, i believe i read here prior about a future enhancement to the XPR line for LTR. any news on this?

i'm nearly positive that the Systems saber is a 16 channel by x zones, and the saber III is 12 channels x zones... also, systems saber was made for trunking i believe, but can be used without..

if you're looking to tx MDC1200, than yes, it should (99.9999% positive). i've never heard of a non-MDC tx'ing motorola astro portable...

had a 2500 with FPP, when i upgraded from CPS 9 to CPS 10, i had the same problem... the CPS10+ will NOT allow you to assign any systems to FPP channels other than 1, so MDC1, DTMF1, ASTRO1, etc...

I got my BT adopter and headset to from escomm today. I have tried it with my XT5000 and a non-Moto headset over 1 hour, they work good even I put the radio in my backpack. once you turn on the radio, press one of the two bottom buttons below the PTT button 5 times... i forget which one of the two it is, BUT, it will go into a self-check mode, and cycle thru many of the items you requested, interesting enough, i don't think it'll list the flash..

got a fleet load of 1500 Mod 1.5 & 2500 Mod 1.5, they are all mated to a RSM with volume buttons and Emergency buttons, it escapes me what mod# they are... the top radio orange button is set to emergency, i was under the assumption that the mic mimicked the top radio emergency button, but nope, ...

as ghetto as it is, i've futher evolved it to a $3 solution, by adding a 3rd stack of quarters, completely wrapping the coins in electrical tape, now i can put battery & radio in the charger w/o blinking lights...

i found a $2 solution to getting a waris battery to sit correctly into a Impres Charger... our two test batteries, XTS2500 battery NTN9857C, and Waris battery HNN4001A... http://www.incurronoctis.com/impres/2.JPG note the disparity between the two contacts... the answer is $2 in quarters... its work...

i believe ADP is technically easier to hack than the others, i don't know the bit number of encryption tho...
