Yes 2 real moto cables I have also programmed 4000's before but a friend said because these are intrinsically safe model there is no ground on the outside case where the antenna connections are on normal apx radios

Anyone have any info on the programming cable for the apx4000xh model??
It will not program with either of my cables I was told there is a grounding issue in these radio that require different cable

no moscad we use fullvision and nmo for problems ... it does not go into failsoft very much but the first time it went into failsoft on the smartzone system the dispatchers did not get the red x's they were used too from the smartnet system .. we are smartzone but only 2 sites the are full simulcast ...

ok here is my dilema i maintain a rather large 4.1 smartzone system.. when i say large i mean the number of users we have only 2 simulcast sites .. my problem is when we go into failsoft the console operators have no idea until some one calls them on the phone and lets them know.. I just bought a xts500 its a 123abc1234 radio .. it seems to work fine except for when i first turn it on i can't use any of the buttons or switches or knob for about 60 seconds or so after that it works fine .. eveything works fine astro and all just for that one problem .. looking for sugggestions ...
