Re: Need to understand Quick Call and how to set tones
Found some great info on here, (a few pages on the Minitors 1 thru IV) albeit found from outside using Yahoo. Don't see the link anywhere but there is some good pager info. It looks like its going to be a bit of a PITA to take these guys apart and desolder the crystals and replace them and then I ...

Re: Need to understand Quick Call and how to set tones
I got a little bit of clarification. Turns out the guy that provided me the frequency list didn't understand his tones and tried to give me a version of the Motorola Tone Chart. I've got a programmed radio of theirs on the way to read. They do just use the standard tones so I'm ok...

Re: Need some repair Help - Shoulder Mike
Which screw? The only screw is the one that locks the shoulder mike on to the radio at the hinge. I can't find any others... As far as the rubber goes, just pull it out to remove it? It seems set in a channel and I don't want to rip it...
Thanks

Need some repair Help - Shoulder Mike
I haven't delved into this yet, but I have two shoulder mikes for the MTS 2000 Flashport that need the gold fingers replaced on them. I have a bad mike, so I have some spare fingers.
Do the old ones unscrew at the base, and the entire piece comes out? Do I need to remove the rubber housing around ...

New style RIB with RJ-45 jack and RS-232 question
I have one of the newer style rib boxes that has an RJ-45 port on it as well as a RS-232 port. The port is switch selectable. Does anyone have one of these RIBs? Can I use the RJ-45 port to program any of the professional series radios (M1225, CDM, etc) with a CAT 5 cable?

Dual Head..
Nah,
Not really looking for dual head or dual control. Just need a second Mike and Speaker. I considered just making a "Y" cable (RJ 45) and doing exactly what you said. Essentially, There is one med channel that needs to be able to be used from the front of the ambulance to notify the county ...

mcs2000 advanced control head change
Hey I have a question/need some help. I sent my MCS2000 off to someone to have the codeplug changed in it so I can use my advanced control head on the radio.
I got a reply that the radio would not accept the codeplug, and that most likely I have the wrong version of the interconnect board for the ...

You guys were right.. The number goes up by itself.. Max of 16 sublfleets for any given personality, so by adding more personalities, you can then add systems, or if you max out on subfleets you add another personality as well... I'm up to 13 personalities, two systems and 150 modes.. working great ...

Same Problem
Wow, I'm glad I did a search.. I am having the same problem with my Spectra, only the audio is not completely gone all of the time.. it just fades out after the radio has been on for a minute or so. The louder you have the audio set, the quicker it fades. Radio still works fine, scans, receives ...
