Hello group. I've got a conventional Quantar here with an EPIC I SCM (R020.09.062) that allows mixed-mode ops and narraow bandwidth. I just ordered a replacement FRU SCM from M ......(CLN-1293A) which is an EPIC II board, with R020.14.002 (as per the SIMM module sticker). It too is for 6809/CNV ops....

How does one create a Conventional System Key for accessing conventional tactical OTAR, STUN/REVIVE? I have all the features, just need a CSK.

Thanks very much! The unit is a 450 Model with Tx=Rx=464.5000MHz The formula for the 450 model works since the top of one of the xtals reads '52437500' which is obviously 52.4375MHz. Can a R1-UHF (403-435MHz) be tuned above 435 for 70cm HAM use? Is it as simple as programming it and re-tuning it? How high can it go?
