The Icom SP10, Motorola HSN8145/SSN4005 and possibly several others used the same outer package.
The only thing that differentiated them was the speaker impeadance itself. I think it was originally of
Japanese or South East Asian origin.

It is probably not even an 8 ohm speaker. Most of the cell phone cradle kits I have seen in the past had speakers that were about 4 ohms or possibly a little less.

If you want a pigtail as a replacement why don't you make your own. You can make it with any
RF connector you prefer. I would go with the SO-239 pigtail or if you want smaller and screw
on you can go with a TNC.

Yes, Bomar says they will make crystals, but the key is "at a decent price." $ 50+ per crystal is a bit much, but then I am a cheap old ham. Quartslab in the UK may be an alternative but I have not tried them. I know about Quartslab and purposely mentioned this so others could be aware of...

First of all your nomenclature is faulty - its an MCS2000 Model 2 with remote head.
You will need the default Jumpers 1-2 and 4-9. Your supposed to be smarter, the mcs2000
radio has no internal smarts.

Another thing i have noticed is that many older MCS2000 radios never had the 25khz, 20khz, and 12.5khz squelch adjustments aligned properly. I just went through a small pile like that and the receiver sensitivity was awful until I did them properly.

The H23 is a PT200, which is basically an HT200 in a packset case. The P33 is a PT300, which is an HT200 with a power amplifier in the same packset case. It has been quite awhile since i was inside of a CDM but I do think it may have been a regulator issue in the control head.
There are about 2 or 3 regulators in CDM control heads that may be the issue.

I knew Dumont made radio base station equipment but was not aware of them making
