Speaker mic for xts5000/efj
What is the difference between the nmn6193B mic and the 6191C mic? I guess the question should be, what mics can be used on the xts5000/efj radios?
I have the 6193 mic and wanted a spair mic for use on my efj.
Thanks

MT1000 Controler question
Hello,
I was going to put a mt1000 dtmf pad on a UHF HT600e and found that the connector is different. I have an extra controler from a 99 channel vhf. Is the controler on a 99 channel vhf or uhf? Can I take a controler from a vhf 99 channel and and put it in a uhf 99 channel HT600e?
Thanks

Perhaps my nomenclature is incorrect. Not sure that I would describe this as a brain. This convertacom has no visible screws on top, bottom, or sides. NTN5613A. convertacom for MT1000. I let the smoke out of my convertacom :( after purchasing some power connectors that have an opposite pin out than the pinout on the batlab site( and applying an unfused 12 volts). convertacom for mt1000
I seem to have misplaced (lost), my power connector for my convertacom. Does any one have a spare power cord sitting in their junk box that I could have? It doesn't seem to be a standard anything.

MT1000 wiring help needed
Hello, I am wiring a TinyTrak to a MT1000 and I finally gotten to some specific questions. I have used a earphone adapter and added pins. For the antenna, I have tied 12 and 13 together and then to coax shield. Pin 10 then goes to the center conductor. I think that this is correct. For the speaker, ...

MT1000 APRS?
Hello,
Has anyone hooked up a MT1000 to a APRS? I was thinking of a Tinytrak and a Garmin GPS 18. I would gut a MT, making the smallest, lightest package I could. Any special considerations with the output/input to a MT1000?

Need small coax spec
Helo,
I've taken apart a MT1000 antenna adapter to see how it is made and I am using some earphone adapters to make more. I need to get a foot or so of the coax that is used. Anyone know the spec/part number on this coax? It is around the thickness of a pencil lead.

Are the PL tones different on a P110?
Hello,
I have a couple of P110 radios that I would like to know the tone on. I tried to use the tone scan mode on a icom w32a and was unable to get it. Is there a default tone that folks might have programmed these radios for? Are the PL tones different on the P110?

Building a MT1000 battery pack - have questions
Hello, I am building a alkaline battery pack out of a gutted rechargable. Inside I found several components besides the leaking nicads. One diode, one resister, one small black thing and one cased item, labeled "pepi n-1". Should I include any of these items in my battery pack and what the...

Hello, I am new to the MT1000 radio collectors group, (MT1KCG), and of course have been buying every odd ball attachment I can find off of Ebay.
