What is this "tool" that I need to flash my HT1250... On my new software the flash option is there but besides my RIB it says I need a flash tool? WHAT is this and can u build it or what?

Just recently I was working on a brand new HT1250. It had a new feature in the settings called MDC message and MDC Status. Anyone know anything about these 2 functions?

The funny thing is that both codeplugs work in BOTH radios... The New and Old radios both except the New and Old Codeplugs. The problem isnt getting the features into the radio which I can do without a firmware upgrade... Its getting all the old info into the new codeplug with the features without ...
