XTL5000 Hardware Question

Hello all, I have a simple question about an XTL5000 I have that has a W4 remote head on it. I've found this cable at Wiscomm and was wondering if this is what I need to program the XTL, any chance Moto makes a USB version? Any help you can provide is very much appreciated, thanks!

While I agree with you I still have to say it is whoever's car, they can do what they wish not what I would like for them to do. By the same token I do not want to hear them whine and complain about it. If they are satisfied with a half @$$ install then so be it. If it is half @$$ and they want to ...

He just said in a previous post that someone had asked him. I am assuming it was a buyer, if he tells them " why yes it is"...... I'm sure you see the bigger picture in a now sue happy world. It was just a bit of advise, I'm not jumping him over it......

If that is the same one you have for sale I would suggest you inform the buyer of what Terry has stated. You certainly don't want that comming back to bite you in the butt later if something were to happen.

Your date code is the first 3 digits, the first would be the year which appears to be 2004. How often has that battery been rapid charged?? I'd say the battery is on its way out.

HT1250 paging question

Is there a site where I can listen to all the different tones available for the HT1250 to function as a pager. I really dont want to have to change it in CPS and ask for a test then repeat the process.

Our 800 system is also patched at the console to 280. Do you guys use 155.340 for hospital call ins? NC law mandates that every ambulance in NC regardless of 800 system or not also have a VHF radio! I would check the FCC database for anything close to you with the freq.
