I have a problem with QC-II decoding on VHF Motorola radios, and I do not know what I am doing wrong. This is an issue on my XTL-5000’s, XPR 6550, XPR 4550, and XTS5000s.

What is the output rating for the minitor 2 ear phone jack (watts / ohms) ? Is it different for the MIII,IV, or V?

In theory, could it feed 2 speakers, up to 20 feet away, without an amplifier?

Same as everyone else, inside with me where its out of the bad stuff. However, if for some reason the radio gets contaminated, it gets deconed by our local chem. specialist company and the bill goes to the company who we responded to.

This isnt a laptop, its a desktop, but I will try the drivers you sent me.

The dell auto driver support wont find the correct driver on the computer, and without the ethernet port I cant connect to the net to search for the proper driver.

I appoligize, it is the onboard card that is causing all the fuss.

the older the computer, the better it will be to program a moto radio with. P133 will work with some radios, but not with most. I use a 486 for most radios and it works fine. However, I dont program X9000's or such. I mainly work on genesis, jedi, and Kenwood radios.

I would go with the Kenwood 630/730 combo. I am a kenwood fan, and have used that setup before. Its nice to be able to run both radios from the control head, and though its an orange display, its still a nice alpha display. If you cant afford the *90 series, the 30 series is the way to go.

Dont get rid of it. If it is a truly asian radio, the mod that has been posted in the other thread should allow you to program that radio. That mod supposedly allows the any market version to be read with a US CPS.
