I sent him a message that the
cables were not programing cables.
No reply, still has them for sale.
If I didn't buy it almost a year ago,
I'd file a complaint.Grrrr.
Oh well,lesson learned.

Yet another update!
I checked the pin out. There are
several pins missing from the
db25 on "programming cable".
No wonder it doesn't work.
Anybody know what the heck this
thing fits?
Anybody want to buy it? :P

Whats this cable? UPDATE!

Anybody know what a YKN 4231A
cable is for?
I bought it off a certain auction site
and its supposed to be a progamming cable for a X9000.
It has a male db25 to the rib.
It has the T connector on the other end.
My rib has a male db25 on that end.

Thanks,

Dos 6.0 for RSS

Is Dos 6.0 O.K. for programing
spectra/x9000?
Would 6.22 be better?
Thanks,

I too bought one of these off Ebay.
The sellers name is Jaejae7.
She doesn't appear to be have any at this time
but you could contact her and get
some info.
I didn't realize the radio had this feature
until I read the post here!
Hope this helps.

I've got the 32 mode head.
Any product advice on dry, sticky pushbuttons?
I washed them with an alcohol based cleaner,
now they're clean but dry and hard to push.

Syntor X transmitting problems

Okay here goes,my first post.
I hooked up my new(to me) Syntor X.
Programmed it ala Piexx programable eeprom.
Everything fine so far,but.....
Receives fine.
Power to green wire..O.K.
Ptt doesn't do anything.
When I apply power to the orange wire,it goes
to transmit without the ptt being pushed.
Mic ...
