Hi,does anyone remember the mcc 5500 Supervisor password to log onto a POSITION,to modify it?I thought it was like.....astro something.It would be a default password.

Well,thanks for all input,here is what I did to enable this:
J11. on back of the receiver,RJ 45:
PIN 5 TO GROUND,I SECURED TO SCREW ON ASTRO TAC RECEIVER
PIN 6 THEN HAS A LOW WHEN THE RADIO RECEIVES.
Then you can key up whatever radio you like,in my case a CM 200D.Works well,no programming at all.

Bill,Thanks much!I know exactly of what you speak.I looked a bit this weekend,saw all that in software.However,like others,I would not have thought to enable the 6809 trunk feature,seeing as how this is not a trunk radio.Thanks again,I will post my results for you and others.!

That is what I suspected,just did not find it yet,now I did download the latest Quanta astro software from MOL,because I have a windows 7 machine now.

I have a conventional VHF receiver that I need a COR output, a low,to key up a UHF cm300 in a UHF wireless link for a voting system.I have the manual,I cannot seem to find this on the receiver.Any help will be appreciated.

Digital Mic gain was at 16 db,then 6,then 22 because they said that the volume was too low on the receiving end.

Hello,has anyone ever tested a MTR 3000 with a General Dynamics R8000 Monitor?The MTR is also in IP site connect.My monitor has DMR autotune,but it looks like it only tests mobiles and portables,plus XPR 8400s.Just curious.

By the way,I understand how to do the BER test for Tx and Rx ,directly to the radio with monitor,but isn't there a way to test BER in a real life situation,whereas the medium,the distance between the portable and repeater is considered.

By the way Bill, the PTG10 stands for Pilot Tone Generator.Which obviously produces Pilot Tone for Voters.It is selectable from 1950,or 2175.I use 2175,and it comes stock setup as 1950.It also has a line adjust and Pilot adjust in the housing.
