I keep getting Error 8862 when trying to update the firmware in my XPR 5550.
It has R02.00.03 and I am trying to go to R02.60.03. CPS 13.5 Build 679. I have also tried with the latest version of CPS [14.0]

ok, thats what i thought.. I will try the concentric switch TX inhibit as all i really wanted to do was prevent accidental keyups.

Programming MTS-2000 Recieve only
When programming an MTS-2000 for type II trunking is there a way to set the personalities to be receive-only. I know how to do it in conventional programming and was wondering if Trunking had the same option.. I am using R02.02.00 of the MTS-2000 CPS

HT-1000 Programming
What is the Fastest computer that can be used to program an HT-1000? The slowest computer I have is 475mhz AMD K6, is that too fast, even running MoSlow?

Printing reports in MTS-2000 CPS
I am using R02.02.00 of the MTS-2000 CPS on my computer. Whenever i print any of the reports the formatting is messed up. I have attached a sample in PDF form. http://rsatest.com/cps.pdf

The radio is UHF. I have already bought the programming software, so i do not need it programmed. At the moment it has 80 conventional freqs in it.

My radio is toolproof so the software that you mentioned will not work on the radio. I have read people putting other codeplugs into the radio, would that work?

Can this radio be programmed down to the 70cm ham band? Also could a 400-470mhz band split radio be programmed up to 512mhz or at least 492.
