OK no serial line, so the VOX circuit /option is programmed? if so maybe the input pin is dirty or the wire is going flaky... again so much to understand,,,could be the audio card going bad also... Do you have another set of cables set up to work with this? might not be a bad idea to build a new set...

OK a few questions and things to look at... is that base radio working right off the bat? TX power? TX audio from the front mic (the desk or palm mic?) the PC that is Sending the audio, is the Volume turned up or turned down on the PC its self? (Audio Control Panel) is the going into TX but no Audio...

Yes, if Repeater access is set you will get the RAC (repeater access code) data sent and then the MDC ID, they are using a PL on the repeater? if so then you dont need to have the RAC enabled

OK you need to have a HEX editor that will you can load your memory into... after that, I have found the best way is to look for the Serial number or Model number in Ram, a few line down you will see the pass work that CPS is looking for, if need be ship me the radios and I will crack the pass word....

The PL was programed in to the radios, and would TX the PL when I used a mic with the radio, but I got no PL with the RICK. and that just made no sense to me, I have used that RICK design ( again thanks NAND) with GM300 several times before and it worked with out any problems but with the the CDM750...
