The same USB/Serial adapter works fine to program my Uniden 396XT.

Not finding any answers in Search. Runs fine in WinXP Mode under Win7 64 Bit, but running it directly in Win 7 64 Bit I get the Communications with radio failed message. I have tried all the compatibility modes and CPS is set to use the correct serial port (using a Prolific USB to Serial converter)....

Without the flash optionyou can't get this screen in CPS:

Apparently the NNTN8160AS BT board will only mate with Motorola Bluetooth earpieces. The link between the radio and earpiece is encrypted.
