No conversion necessary, it plugs right in.
Kilgore: Smell that? You smell that?
Lance: What?
Kilgore: Napalm, son. Nothing in the world smells like that.
Kilgore: I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end...

But it can't hold secure key after power supply off.
Maybe it need a battery to hold key.

There is a cover that goes in place over the top, is it there? If not, you will have to bypass the popple on top of the board. Also, in the RSS or CPS, you can check "infinite key retention" and that should help with your dilemma as well.

There were some that had an extended key retention, they had a capacitor on the board. What type of crypto are you using?
