Sorry, still figuring out digital.
Question: what is Q806 vs. Q811 option? I know Q806 is Astro digital, and Q811 is P25 (I think?) but are they compatible?
Can two radios with these seperate options talk to each other? (is this a Backward/forward compatibility issue?)
Sorry all, just still confused no matter what I read.
Allow me not to confuse myself further lol:
Example, I have an Astro Saber (digital) that I'd like to communicate with an Xts25K (P25). Is this possible?
Thanks in advance
John

Re: Digital confusion
Q811 is a package ("Digital MDC Conventional Package") not a FLASHcode option.
Each package has a set list of FLASHcode options, so you would simply order a specific package rather than selecting a list of f/c options individually. The Q811 package includes the Q806 f/c option.

Andrew,
Thank you. That fills in a lot of blanks. Think I understand now.
