Vertex P25?

Post by arlojanis »

Would you as a Motorola dealer sell a Vertex P25 mobile and portable to a low budget department?
Would you as an officer buy a Vertex P25 mobile and portable?
I want to help these people, but I am not sure I want to get mixed up in this.
What have you seen or heard about Vertex P25?

I was quoted $4000 for a Motorola Portable with DES encryption and $1200 for a Kenwood with DES encryption for the agency I primarily do work for. Guess what the Chief pulled the trigger on.

Money is tight, if the radio works well and is within specs...why pay more.
