HELP-HT1250 problem

Merry Christmas all, i have a uhf 1250 that has an issue? Powers up fine but when i squeeze radio (even gently) it powers off till i let go? Tried it with multiple batteries and same thing occurs? A friend changed the flex and it didnt change anything? I dont know history on radio, if housing was changed or what.....anybody know someone who can look at it for me as i have no capabilities to test it lol. Thx guys. PM if can help
