SM50, decode NOAA QCII long tone 1050?

Post by Max-trac »

I have programmed the QCII long tone 1050hz, but it will not decode the Weather WX long tone on 162.55Mhz
Ideas?

I could be wrong but as far as I know there is no QCII 1050 tone.

The closest tone I know of is 1047.1 in table 4

It rounds to 1049.3 on this radio. Still it does not work (Maxtrac decodes fine). I think it may need the "Radius Advantage Options Board". But it does let me program the tones. Oh, well.
