ATIA - Channel Number/Frequency?

Post by ksmithson1967 »

I am trying to decode an ATIA feed and the documentation I have isn't lining up with the packets I'm getting. Does anyone know if the actual channel number, channel ID, offset, or frequency information are contained in an ATIA packet?

Here's an example:

0010 01 0c 70 df 00 00 80 11 62 6c ac 10 87 35 ac 10

Re: ATIA - Channel Number/Frequency?

I no longer have access to specific ATIA stream details or docs, but YES, at least one of the four channel frequency attributes you listed should be in the packet. The documentation you are using may well be outdated unless it came with the system release software for the specific system you are monitoring. The original static format changed to one that varies by specific trunking software release level, and the incremental changes were covered in the revision documentation. The software for system manager terminals also was upgraded whenever a major system software update was installed.
