xts3000 using it on smartnet 2i help.

i have a xts3000 800mhz with smartnet 2 and need to add some type one talkgroups but when i change the format on the xts 3000 to 2i and then try to add the typ1 talk groups in the subfleet section it gives me and error message. can anyone help.

It's not flashed for type I operation.

Some of the early units wouldn't do type I operation, I had 6 that wouldn't...... no matter what, till the firmware was updated. Just like the new XTS5000 (early model) won't do private call and page alert on trunking, the new ones will.
