Somehow I've turned my Saber I into an expensive paperweight.
Is there anyway to reset it?

I get no on beep, rec or transmit, and no communication.

Is there a fuse that can be checked?

What does the RSS error tell you when you read?

Check your system.

Is it too fast?
Were you running under pure DOS?
Are your cables good?
Is your RIB working correctly?

Did you change the bandsplit to something it can't handle?

Start from there and work toward the radio.

Saber codeplugs can be created from scratch. Once you've verified your system as being adequate create another with the correct splits and program it.

yes there is a fuse ... but i have never herd of blowing a fuse while programming ..

there are a lot of things to check before you start pulling the radio apart looking for fuses ..

Yes, I did save the file.

BUT, this does not help me when the radio will not communicate.

Is there a way to do a reset, as in jumping a couple of connectors to unlock it?

There is nothing to unlock. If it's corrupted, as it sounds like it is, then it needs to be reprogrammed.

You haven't specified what you are working with yet.
