Motorola CDM 1250 Scanning 32 Ch. (It can be done)

Post by unioner101 »

I know that everyone is not goin to believe me that it can be done because i didnt believe it could be done until i recently had a problem with my scan list with my UHF CDM 1250 AAM25SKD9AA2AN.

Heres what my radio was doing. I don't know if this is attributed to an error on the board of my radio however, if you set the priority and a transmit designated channel to have a different scan list from that of which the radio is really selected the radio will not know which scan list to use. The reason why I believe this to be the case is I also had the channel I was really selected up one (this is the channel that comes up if you turn scan off to the second priority channel) This way the radio display is identifing the designated transmitted channel (also the first priority channel in the scan list priority) as the selected channel but it is also reverting to the second priority channel or the true selected channel scan list and utilizing that second scan list as well. I know this may sound weird it is difficult to write all the anomilies that came together to cause this. I am in no way an software engineer but I can asure you that my radio was scanning 32 channels, I would be willing to email anyone the codeplug to show.

Please send me one

I think the radio only scanning 16 at a time is the biggest problem with this radio.I switched from a Maxtrac 32ch(due to a narrow band issue) and miss the opion of scanning 32 channels.

cool, but did you verify that it was scanning each of the 32 channels in both scanlists??? did you get activity on all 32 channels in scan?

Ummm... if nobody has gotten any further information/ codeplugs, then consider it a fluke/not possible instead of subjecting your e-mail addys to spam-bots and/or otherwise just wasting time.

Well, the guy hasn't posted a thing here on the board in well over a month which leads me to believe a dead-end.
