Guys, mike dawson (who several of you know) suffered a major cardiac episode on halloween night.

he's still in cardiac intensive care at the hospital. prognosis is good.

if you know mike, don't call him - he doesn't need people bothering him.

Get Well Mike

Post by txshooter »

I talked with Mike on Halloween night for a few moments. He sounded OK, and said he would call me back the next day. I never heard back from him. This post explains a lot. I did not realize that is what happened. He had been extremely busy with work. i.e. stressed out.

My family's thoughts and prayers are with him during this time of recovery.

Mike:

I'm not sure we met, or haven't, but we may have crossed paths once or twice when I was buying/selling at Grayslake several years ago, at least up until '99 when I stopped going.

Aside from that, I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery above all else!

Hurry up and GET WELL SOON!!

Sincerely
Ernest

MR Dawson has passed away.

I knew him personally I have no love lost for the man, I will stop there.

He worked in the dept I am in and was the "chief" in another nearby.

I know this due to a message sent via teletype

Pray for his family and Funeral Arrangments

Post by txshooter »

My thoughts and prayers are with his family in this time of need.

Mike and I recently had completed a deal, and had done business together several times over the years. He will be deeply missed. He was a pleasure to deal with.

Mike, we are going to miss you......

Wow... Really sorry to hear about this, my best to his family.

Anyone want to start up a collection to send something to the family? It's been done in the past for other members - I just can't this week as I have to travel Thursday -> Sunday.

For those interested in sending something to the family....

They have asked memorials be sent to the above organization. It is their version of the 100 Club.

I shouldn't have to post this - if you don't have anything nice to say - don't say it.

This thread is being locked before anyone else decides to speak ill of the dead. If anyone has any pertinent information to Mike's passing, please PM a mod who can add the info to this thread.

I think I speak for (most of) the members when I say that we know Mike is in a better place and hope that his family members are at peace.
