I'm sure this has been mentioned many times in the past, my apologies if it has been.
Does anyone know if it is possible to take an 800MHz PP GTX portable and turn it into an LTS2000 portable? I don't care about SmartZone functionality, but SmartNet features (specifically, patch support) would be awesome.
I tinkered with a GTX mobile and found that it is at least possible to feed an LCS codeplug into it, however that's as far as I had ever gone. I'm guessing that the LTS2000 and GTX portables are similar enough, the service manual afterall, is the same.
GTX to LTS?

Re: GTX to LTS?
Indeed it can be done...
Just don't use a full blown smartzone codeplug for it, the GTX controllers don't like them...find a Smartnet LTS codeplug...
