how to configure MDC decode CM300 ????

in my job we are using at least 40 radios ( CM300 & few GM300), I want to configure at least two of those radios to show a PTT ID for each radio.

please advice me about the MDC decode, and how to use it

Enable MDC select the channels you want to send it on and do the same with the other .if you have the software you should be able to get it once you see mdc

bring up a personality on the screen and in the recieve side most of the way down there is a box that says signaling system, set it to mdc and you are in business.

thank you guys for your answers,

the fact is, as it was explained to me by the technical support of motorola, that the CM300 radio doesn't support the MDC decode option, you can program the PTT ID within the CM300 , but to display this ID only the CM340 & CM360 radios can display it, could any have further information please ????

it can decode and display the mdc number but not an alias

Make sure you go into view and choose expert view in the CPS to see all your available options. I think the receive signalling box will only show up in the channel personality in expert view.
