Repeater in 470 MHz

Hi there,

which Repeater is a good choice in 470 MHz ?

Is the way i found on the web with two GM300 and a Crossover-cable a good choice?

It really depends on what you are trying to do with it? Good is such a relative term. By no means is that type of repeater anywhere near a continuous duty repeater or something to be used in any service that may be considered mission critical.

The use would be official. We are going to get a second channel approved for our private mobile radio. We have only GM/GP 1200 Radios in use.
The repeater would be placed on a high house and repeat on the second channel if there is someone talking on the first channel.
