Hi Guys,
Just wondering if I had a MCS2000 VHF 146-174MHz, 110Watt Model II (conventional flash) radio setup currently with a single remote head............would it be possible to change this existing setup into a Dual remote head (model II)?? Is there firmware issue/programming or would it just be hardware?
Thanks Guys,
Jamie

Can a MCS2000 be changed into a dual head style

Re: Can a MCS2000 be changed into a dual head style
Yes, it's a pretty easy switch. You do need a dual head cable and a control head that is specifically for rear head applications. Other than that it is really a programming issue. A regular head will appear to work at first in dual head configuration, but it will conflict with the front head.

If memory serves, the rear head also uses a special speaker that has an amp and volume control in it.

Yes, it sure does. I had almost forgot about the speaker issue.jackhackett wrote:If memory serves, the rear head also uses a special speaker that has an amp and volume control in it.
