I have a XTS1500 VHF Split and I can enter every single frequency I want except 155.790. It gives me an invalid entry red mark. Its within the band split so what gives?
Anyone else encountering a similar problem?
FYI: Its the latest CPS.

I have CPS 12 with my XTS5000 VHF codeplug and it took that freq fine.

My XTS2500 takes it just fine as well, and the 2500 has the same guts as a 1500.

The only idea i have is you have encryption turned on that channel and it is set as narroband and non P-25. only guess i have.

If the channel is set to narrow band, 2.5 Khz Tx Opt Deviation, in the Zone channel assignment field and the mode in the personality is set to non astro then yes you will receive this error.
You need to either set the tx deviation to 4 or 5 Khz if you want non astro operation or set the receive to mixed mode in the conventional pers field to clear the error.
