XTS SERIES

Post by MOrepoman »

I have a question you have probably heard a million times but I have to ask it. I need to know if there is a way to tell if an xts raidio is p25 capable. Is it possible to tell without software. I am looking for the model breakdown for these radios and can't seem to find it.

Thanks
Matt

Only way to tell is to have the flashcode thats in the radio and run it through the decoder available below on this website.

If you are talking astro series, xts3000 and astro saber you also need to know the letter that the dsp starts with as its possible for a radio to have a p25 flash and no firmware capable of it. If its a xts1500,2500,4000,5000 then just the flashcode will tell you.
