Battery Stuck on Radio

Post by eastfire510 »

I just bought a GP380 (ht1250) only to find that the battery is stuck on the radio. I think the release tabs arent functioning on one side and its causeing the entire battery to become stuck. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

try squeezing the battery on more while pushing down on the tabs. if that dont' work you can always pry the plastic tabs off and use a small screwdriver to release the metal tabs manually
